Drainage Protection to Prevent Rat Entry
DCL Pest Control carried out the installation of 100mm rat gates in Farnborough to prevent rats from entering a client’s home through the drainage system.
After assessing the property and identifying the drainage line as a potential rodent entry route, we installed specialist rat gates within the pipework. Rats often travel through underground drainage systems before emerging inside properties, so protecting these access points is essential for long-term pest control.
Rat Gate Installation
The 100mm rat gates were securely fitted within the drainage line to create a one-way barrier. This allows wastewater to flow normally through the system while preventing rats from travelling upstream and entering the property.
By installing the rat gates, we secured the drainage system and removed a common entry point for rodents.
